History
The company's history traces its roots back to 1984 when two co-founders sold their homes in upper Delaware and went on to take a chance on a fledgling gas station and tire repair shop off rural county road, Delaware 26. As they found out later, their initial investment of $90,000 would pay many dividends over the years. Initially, the Fuzzy's Tire Shop included 2 bays and was soon expanded to 6 bays. It took almost no time until there was an auto parts store adjacent to the repair shop. As time went on, the company acquired property in Ocean Pines, MD, which, in 1992, became the Ocean Pines Good Year and Parts Depot. Currently, the company is comprised of 3 automotive stores located in Ocean View and Long Neck, Delaware and Ocean Pines, Maryland and 2 repair shops located in Ocean View and Ocean Pines. It employs a total of 55 employees in 3 of its locations and has won the trust and respect of both its employees and customers. In October 2007, the company has received "The Employer of the Year" award from the state of Delaware.
